Soil Mixture For Macadamia Propagation
- The macadamia cuttings need free-draining soil to root as cuttings of other plants. The cuttings will rot in water retaining soil.
- Take a small pot having several drainage holes at its bottom and fill it with the rooting soil mixture. Water the soil thoroughly and keep the pot in shade for half an hour to allow excess water to drain out.

- Scrap the lower part of the cuttings and apply rooting hormone. You can use commercial chemical rooting hormone or use natural rooting hormone like aloe Vera gel. Rooting hormone helps promote roots quickly.
- Make a hole in the soil and insert the prepared macadamia cutting in it, do not push the cutting.
- You can plant more than one cuttings in the same pot.
